Let's Get Aquainted
This blog came about because of the love that I have for Peru, plain and simple.
My mother is from Huancayo, Peru and my father is from Oklahoma. Born and raised in Georgia, I travel and live in Peru 1 to 3 months every year. I have an apartment in the best city (my opinion) in Peru, HUANCAYO. Because of this, many of my travels begin in this city.
Peru is so much more that Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu. Now don't get me wrong, these places are AMAZING. One of the 7th wonders of the world? Heck yes! But Peru has costa, sierra, and selva, and has a multitude of wonders to offer and I am here to tell you about them.
I majored in History Education and minored in Native American Studies so I tend to use this as the basis of my findings. Lets face it, I am a history nerd.
